Discover Lake Guntersville State Park
Lake Guntersville State Park is a wonderful favorite spot in Alabama. It's a great place to camp and play radio. We found a pavilion by the lake, providing a picture-perfect backdrop for a Parks on the Air (POTA) adventure. We had a great time and definitely recommend it as a place to visit.
Our Exciting Activation Day
On a brisk almost-still-winter day, we set up camp by the lake with our trusty Xiegu G90. We powered through the chill and had a great time! In no time, we had 61 contacts from hunters across the states. Our G90 and Becky's beloved Putikeeg Straight Key in hand and drew in both new and familiar calls. We even shared a fun Park-to-Park contact with friends from POTA Power. Thanks to Junie, Mochie, and Julie for sharing your clip!
